Arcade Block July

It's ARCADE BLOCK time of the month!

Lewt

Caution Tee: Nod to The Last of Us, I'm liking it.

Cut the Rope Nommies: Nephew ran off with it.  No idea what it was.

DJ Organic & Mega Ran: Coin-Op Crush.  I do happen to enjoy chiptune and video game tunes so this was a welcome addition to the block.

Sonic Worlds Unite: Battles #1  Archiecomics.com Arcade Block Variant

Classic Console Cartridge Coasters:  Cool retro design from a popular system, useless cardboard coasters to me.

Bonus Shirt:  Sonic Screwdriver shirt that I received in an earlier box.  Uhm, okay?

Funko Pop! Vinyl Evolve (1 of 4): Maggie looks cool but I fear if I take her out of the box, there's no way to identify who she is.  That is one of the issues I personally have with Funko Pop!  The vast majority of them are from the same mould, just decorated differently.  That's not to say that I don't still enjoy the cookie cutter Pop! but I usually don't hang on to them.

Final Verdict:
There is a nice variety of gaming goodies in this box.  I'm not too keen about getting a repeat shirt even if it is a bonus shirt.  The coasters have been popping up more and more in sub boxes and I honestly have no use for them.  The Evolve Pop! is a nice touch and the chiptune CD is an unexpected surprise.

July Horror Block

Horror Block time!

Lewt!

American Werewolf Tee: Yes.  I foresee wearing this many times.

Choose Their Kill DVD Collection: So much yes!  It's exactly like the Choose Your Own Adventure books except it's a film!

Rue Morgue Magazine:  Standard with every box.  Cool artwork and horror tales inside.

The Walking Dead Car Decal: My car is running on a hope and a thread.  I'm certainly not putting this decal on it.  It's cool but Katie claimed it.

Bonus Tee:  Team Fortress 2 tee, so much score!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer-Spike:  Hmm, I've seen this vinyl in an earlier box.  Except this one has blood splatter.

Final Verdict

A nice mix of horror items this month.  The 'Bonus Shirt' leads me to believe there was a massive ShirtPunch overstock.  Since I got two different shirts this box, I can't complain.

Geek Fuel "Exclusive"

Geek Fuel Time!

Lewt!

Burnstar Downloadable Game Code & Star Candy: Nice!  I was eyeing this game the other day.  Am stoked to see it in this month's box.  The candy is delicious banana!

Mini-Pint Shot Glass: Holy balls! Ant-Man shot glass! What!?  So freaking cool.

mini bobbler Ant-Man not included

Shiny! Button: A button

Aliens C.S. Vampirella Poster: Actually this is a cool looking poster.  I am running out of wall real estate.  Not sure to the fate of this poster.

GF Exclusive: Marvel #1 Issue Civil War Comic Book: Holy balls yes!

Le Tour Geek Tee:  A Tour de France nod with Link.  Did not get to so much as touch this tee as Eiren ran off into his cave with it.  Did not get the yellow jersey though, I do know that.

Final Verdict

Month after month, GeekFuel continues to send a great mix of items.  I am looking forward to next month already!

Nerd Block July: Humanity's Last Hope

L E W T !

Cobra's Motto Tee: Yes!

Mad Max Comic: Yes!

Ghostbusters Wallet:  I actually needed a new wallet so cheers for that!  This is a Mighty Wallet (?) it is super lightweight and I can't tear it in half so it passes on that.  It claims to be water proof as well but I'm not exactly anxious to test that out.

Iron Man Keychain: Yes!  This is the second time I've gotten one in a sub box so mini Iron Man will have to spend sometime in the trade-off bin. I'm sure someone will give it a good home.

Transformers Danglers:  Danglers and I have a rocky romance.  Sometimes I like them, sometimes I don't.  I rarely have a need for them and unfortunately I have no need for this so off to the trade-off bin.  Hopefully someone will give it a good home.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Titan Vinyl Figure:  I was never big into Buffy then or now for that matter. I have heard though that Spike was a badass so I just might keep him.

Final Verdict

The selection of items this month was pretty good.  Digging the tee and the Mad Max comic a lot.  I am excited to see what next month's box has in store.

1up Box: Justice

This month's theme is JUSTICE.  I'm excited because the first thing that comes to my mind is the JUSTICE LEAGUE!

Wind up, Topper, Shades, Tattoos, Magnet, Tee

Justice League Wind Ups:  There are seven different characters, the one in the box is random.  I got Batman, a big HELL YES!  The box was slightly damaged but it didn't affect the wind up.  Batman walks and looks great on display.

Wind him up to execute Justice

TNMT Turtle Topper:  With the recent surge of remakes, I am not a fan of the newer TNMT.  The topper is a squish face plush (I don't like it) and my nephew claimed it before I could examine it further.  There were four different toppers, I got Donatello (the purple one).

Batman Super Hero Shades:  These are pretty freaking cool.  I wouldn't wear these but they look great on display.  And it's Batman, no complaints from me.

kick ass in style

Exclusive Justice Tattoos: I have no intention of using these but they are pretty neat.  My nephew said they were 'too good' to be taken out of the package and be used.  He has them on his peg board instead.

more flair for ass kickin'

Princess 007 Magnet:  A mash-up Princess Leia and Agent 007 magnet.  Magnets are hit or miss for me but this one is awesome.

Leia, Princess Leia

Exclusive Super Rangers Tee:  Mash-up tee of The Power Rangers and Mario & Co or as my housemate has dubbed it 'Mighty Morphin' Plumbers'.  It's unique, it's fun, it's mine.

Daft Punk would be proud

The reverse of the item preview has an awesome mural.  It too will be on display.

Regulators!  Mount up.

Final Verdict

Hell YEAH.  The theme fit exceptionally well, the items were kick ass and nothing went to the trade-off bin.

Next month's theme is COMBAT.  Much excite.
